Some of my EcoInsomniac plans and ideas for this year.

That’s a great question and I’ve been asked what direction is EcoInsomniac.com going many times via Email and IM (both methods of contact can be found on the contact page). Honestly, EcoInsomniac is being guided by the readers and their responses. I’ve had a lot of inquires about how people can help and how one person can make a difference.

Right now I’m scouring the web trying to find resources to be able to help connect people to the right places and programs that will allow them the ability to help out. I want to put together a directory of programs, places and people so that we all know who to turn to when we want to help. I will also be looking to write some more how to articles on things people can do with in their own communities to help the environment or another family.

I would love to have help with this and invite bloggers, readers, website owners, business owners or who ever you are what ever you do if you want to write about how you’ve found ways to help in your community or how people can join up to help in your community please send me your stories or articles and I will publish them and help them get the exposure they deserve.

I’m always looking for bloggers to join and help create content that helps spread knowledge and awareness around the internet. As you’ve seen we don’t just write about environmental issues, but also the other many issues going on in the world. If you’d like to submit guest posts or write with us for the long term I’m always up for talking about it. Just shoot me an email or an IM from the contact page.

Another thing I will be doing is opening an eCommerce store here at EcoInsomniac in hopes that readers will feel comfortable and trust in my research that the items I will offer will be green and have the lowest impact on our world as possible. I will be giving a percentage of the profits away at the end of each month to an organization that the readers will pick by way of polls. The rest of the money will go into the site and help me live while I do this full time and work in my own local community.
