Earth Day is almost here.

Earth Day has fallen on April 22nd since 1970 and this year events are planned all over the world. It’s a day to celebrate and to be heard. Walk, bike, row or swim however you get to an Earth Day event have fun and be safe. No matter what your taste as far as celebrating goes on Earth Day you will have no problem finding a place to be. For example in Austin, Texas you can come see the screening for Kilowatt Ours or if you’re in Bayanhongor, Mongolia you can participate in an Earth Day festival .

Make sure you check the schedules a lot of places and organizations are holding events on the 20th because the 22nd is in the work day, but whatever the case go out and have fun. A lot of learning and a lot of fun will be had next week I hope you’re all part of it.

Yes, I will have a special Earth Day post at my blog featuring a green “greenie” grocery tote bag with a free crochet pattern so you too can make your own reusable grocery tote.

RecycleCindy: Great! Cindy that’ll be awesome. I can’t wait to see it. I’ll most likely be at one of the local festivals here in town most likely Northwest Vista Community College or San Antonio Community College as they’re having some pretty cool events.

I plan to take earth day off from work and spend it outside. I plan to walk to the city park and participate in the festivities which are planned there. Happy early Earth day world!

Big Ben Patton: That’s awesome earth day should be fun, but if you can’t get it off like I said most places are doing something 2 days before on that Sunday. Either way have fun and be safe!
