Kireka B6 A Group

I have received in the last week confirmation that both of my sponsored Kiva entrepreneurs have received their funding. That means the cash has been disbursed to the kireka B6 a Group and Genoveva Vasquez Ruiz . Kireka B6 a Group run by Rehema Namuddu, Christine Nabukalu, Aminah Akoth, Harriet Mirembe, Anna Awori had the money divided between them according to their needs and plans. Genoveva Vasquez Ruiz was fully funded and received the full loan about two weeks ago I believe it was. I’m excited to see how they use it and how they grow their businesses and families. I also want to take this time to say, "Thank you very much!" to everyone who’s sent me nice emails and IMs about how they’re glad to find Kiva and for my friends who have already been giving to Kiva but have given a bit extra to Kiva after reading some of my posts. There is no doubt in my mind that taking this money straight to the entrepreneurs will bring change to the villages and countries where they live.

I also think Kiva is great. I really like how they tangibly connect people.

I’m glad you agree John. I think Kiva will make a difference in the countries that they’re working with and I can’t wait to see how it turns out.
